BMC 4/25 oil breather

Post by CNR » Wed Dec 26, 2018 7:22 pm

I not sure were to put the oil in the breather. The bottom has a inside and outer area. Which does the oil go in ? The outer area in the diameter of the bottom of the canister. The inner one is about 3 inches in diameter. Basically, a smallest bowl in the bottom of the canister base.
Thank you,

The small "inner area" of the base has 2 or 3 small holes connecting to the "outer area". you fill the base using these holes as the level guide. Pour oil into the inner or outer area of the detached base, whichever doesn't matter, until it flows through the holes to fill the other When there is sufficient oil in the base to fill both areas to the level of the holes then it is full & can be clipped back into place on the main body of the air filter unit.
