On the 4100 we used a 6 furrow Bamford plough with spring back bodies. It's likely the wheels had water ballast as well! Our demonstrators were usually very heavy!

JVP i heard of the leyland demo boys putting the hyds in constant pump to drain some power off when they dyno tested the tractors before a demonstration so they had the edge having an extra 10 or 15 HP.

I've not heard of this. We wanted top HP off the dyno! This showed our quoted spec sheet power was genuine and sometimes under quoted!

However we would put demo tractors, straight off the production line, on to the dyno at the farm. Full throttle and "Pulled down" to 540 rpm. This would last for two days or more. Diesels love this and bed in nicely, no oil consumption, no glazing and full power!
